SaveXpert.com is committed to collecting only the minimum data necessary to operate this website. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

- Pages visited, time on page, and navigation path โ collected through Google Analytics (via Site Kit).
- Referring website โ how you arrived at our site.
- Push notification subscription token โ only if you actively opt in to browser push notifications (OneSignal).

SaveXpert uses cookies for the following purposes:
- Essential cookies: WordPress and LiteSpeed Cache use cookies necessary for the website to function correctly.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics uses cookies to count page visits in anonymised aggregate form.
- Push notification cookies: OneSignal sets cookies only if you subscribe to push notifications
- You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or a cookie opt-out tool. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect your access to any content on this site.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect solely for the following purposes:
- To send newsletters to subscribers who have explicitly opted in.
- To respond to contact form messages.
- To display approved reader reviews on article pages (name and review text only โ email is never displayed publicly).
- To understand which content is most useful to our readers, using anonymised analytics data.
- To protect our website from security threats using IP address logs.
- To send browser push notifications to users who have explicitly opted in.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored and managed as follows:
- Newsletter data: Currently stored with Brevo (EU-based, GDPR-compliant email platform). We are building a fully self-hosted email infrastructure to bring subscriber data under our direct control, which will further reduce reliance on third-party storage.
- Review data: Stored in our own WordPress database on Hostinger-managed servers.
- Contact form messages: Transmitted to our email inbox and not retained in a separate database.
- Analytics data: Processed by Google Analytics under their own data governance.
- Push notification tokens: Managed by OneSignal under their own privacy policy.
We implement reasonable security measures including SSL/TLS encryption on all data transmission, access controls on our database, and regular security monitoring through Wordfence.
5. Data Sharing
We Do Not Sell Your Data
SaveXpert does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to any third party for any commercial purpose, ever.
Your data may be processed by the following service providers, who are bound by their own privacy commitments:

7. Newsletter Unsubscribe
Every newsletter we send includes a clearly visible unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click. Upon unsubscribing, your email address will be removed from our mailing list within 10 business days. You may also email kevin@savexpert.com to request immediate removal.
8. Children’s Privacy
SaveXpert.com is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal data to our site, please contact us at kevin@savexpert.com, and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve. Notable upcoming change: we are actively transitioning to a self-hosted email and analytics infrastructure, which will further reduce the personal data processed by third parties. When significant changes are made, we will update the date above and notify newsletter subscribers. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
