4. Referring website — how you arrived at our site.
5. Push notification subscription token — only if you actively opt in to browser push notifications (OneSignal).

2.3 — Cookies

SaveXpert uses cookies for the following purposes:

1. Essential cookies: WordPress and LiteSpeed Cache use cookies necessary for the website to function correctly.
2. Analytics cookies: Google Analytics uses cookies to count page visits in anonymised aggregate form.
3. Push notification cookies: OneSignal sets cookies only if you subscribe to push notifications
4. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or a cookie opt-out tool. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect your access to any content on this site.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect solely for the following purposes:

1. To send newsletters to subscribers who have explicitly opted in.

3. To display approved reader reviews on article pages (name and review text only — email is never displayed publicly).
4. To understand which content is most useful to our readers, using anonymised analytics data.

Your data is stored and managed as follows:

1. Newsletter data: Currently stored with Brevo (EU-based, GDPR-compliant email platform). We are building a fully self-hosted email infrastructure to bring subscriber data under our direct control, which will further reduce reliance on third-party storage.
2. Review data: Stored in our own WordPress database on Hostinger-managed servers.
3. Contact form messages: Transmitted to our email inbox and not retained in a separate database.
4. Analytics data: Processed by Google Analytics under their own data governance.
5. Push notification tokens: Managed by OneSignal under their own privacy policy.

We implement reasonable security measures including SSL/TLS encryption on all data transmission, access controls on our database, and regular security monitoring through Wordfence.

5. Data Sharing

Your data may be processed by the following service providers, who are bound by their own privacy commitments:

Notable upcoming change: we are actively transitioning to a self-hosted email and analytics infrastructure, which will further reduce the personal data processed by third parties.
