Our Privacy Commitment:
SaveXpert.com is committed to collecting only the minimum data necessary to operate this website. We do not sell your personal contact data. Any third-party data processing is limited strictly to essential website operations, anonymised analytics, and authorised advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) as detailed in this policy.

1. Who We Are

SaveXpert.com is a personal finance education blog. For all privacy enquiries, contact us at [email protected] with the subject line ‘Privacy Enquiry‘.

  2. Name, email address, and review text — when you submit an article review.
  3. Name and email address — when you submit a contact form message.

We collect this information only when you actively choose to provide it. No data is collected from visitors who browse without interacting.

2.2 — Data Collected Automatically

When you visit SaveXpert.com, the following information may be collected automatically:

  1. IP address — logged by our server security system (Wordfence) for protection against attacks.
  2. Browser type and operating system — collected through analytics.
  3. Pages visited, time on page, and navigation path — collected through Google Analytics (via Site Kit).

2.3 — Advertising Cookies

SaveXpert uses cookies for the following purposes:

  1. Essential cookies: WordPress and LiteSpeed Cache use cookies necessary for the website to function correctly.
  2. Analytics cookies: Google Analytics uses cookies to count page visits in anonymised aggregate form.
  3. Push notification cookies: OneSignal sets cookies only if you subscribe to push notifications
  4. Third-Party Advertising & Ad Partners: We use Google AdSense and other third-party advertising partners to serve display advertisements across SaveXpert.com.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect solely for the following purposes:

  1. To send newsletters to subscribers who have explicitly opted in.
  2. To respond to contact form messages.
  3. To display approved reader reviews on article pages (name and review text only — email is never displayed publicly).
  4. To understand which content is most useful to our readers, using anonymised analytics data.
  5. To protect our website from security threats using IP address logs.
  6. To send browser push notifications to users who have explicitly opted in.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored and managed as follows:

  1. Newsletter data: Currently stored with Brevo (EU-based, GDPR-compliant email platform). We are building a fully self-hosted email infrastructure to bring subscriber data under our direct control, which will further reduce reliance on third-party storage.
  2. Review data: Stored in our own WordPress database on Hostinger-managed servers.
  3. Contact form messages: Transmitted to our email inbox and not retained in a separate database.
  4. Analytics data: Processed by Google Analytics under their own data governance.
  5. Push notification tokens: Managed by OneSignal under their own privacy policy.

We implement reasonable security measures including SSL/TLS encryption on all data transmission, access controls on our database, and regular security monitoring through Wordfence.

5. Data Sharing

We Do Not Sell Your Data
SaveXpert does not sell, rent, or trade your personal contact details (such as your name or email address). Authorised third-party advertising partners and analytics providers process anonymous cookie and device data solely to deliver advertisements and evaluate traffic performance.

  3. Google Analytics (website analytics) — policies.google.com/privacy.
  4. Hostinger (web hosting) — hostinger.com/privacy-policy.
